Young Cricketers from Mysuru for National School Games

Four Mysureans have been selected for the 65th National School Games Cricket U-17 Boys Championship 2019-20 to be held at Daman and Diu from Jan.3 to Jan.8, 2020.

The budding cricketers who are selected by the Department of Public Instruction for the National Games are H.N. Pavan, son of Hampa Nagaraj and Jayalakshmi of Siddarthanagar; Likhit S. Gowda, son of Siddharaju and Soumya of Nandini Layout; Yadunandan, son of Sundar Naik and Seema of Vasantanagar and M. Yashwant, son of Manjegowda and Shashikala couple of Saraswatipuram.

Pavan, studying in Ideal Jawa Rotary School, JLB Road in city, has already played twice at the State-level Tournaments and for the first time he is participating in a National-level sports event.

Likhit Gowda, a student of Marimallappa’s High School, has already participated twice in State and National-level Cricket Tournaments.

Yadunandan and Yashwant, who are students of Geetha Shishu Shikshana Samsthe, Siddarthanagar and Vijaya Vittala High School respectively, have participated in the State-level Tournaments.
