Mysore/Mysuru: A 24-year-old youth has been brutally murdered on the outskirts of Rammanahalli in Mysuru South Rural Police limits yesterday night.
The deceased youth has been identified as Arjun, a JCB machine driver and a resident of Rammanahalli village.
It is learnt that last night, Arjun received a call on his phone and the caller asked him to come to the outskirts of the village. When Arjun reached the place, he was brutally stabbed and bludgeoned with a stone after pushing into a ditch, it is learnt. It is suspected that someone known to Arjun may have committed the crime.
Additional SP Shivakumar and staff visited the spot. A case has been registered at Mysuru South Rural Police Station.
