Mysuru: A 24-year-old youth was reportedly murdered by a group of miscreants in Manasinagar of the city late last night.
The deceased has been identified as Zuhair Mirza, a resident of Manasinagar. Zuhair Mirza had a dispute with one Mohammad Sabir over sale of a car.
Mirza and Sabir, who consumed alcohol at a bar located 200mts. from Alanahalli Police Station last night, later had a verbal altercation over sale of a car, following which Sabir along with a group for his friends, bludgeoned Zuhair Mirza to death by striking his head with a boulder, on the street close to the bar, it is learnt.
Alanahalli Police, who rushed to the spot on information, conducted mahazar and registered a case in this regard.
