Yuva Sourabha: Vocal Concert at Surabhi Ganakala Mandira

Mysore/Mysuru: Surabhi Ganakala Mandira, Mysuru, under their new series ‘Yuva Sourabha,’ will be presenting a vocal concert by Vid. Anoor Phaneendra Sharma, a talented youth artiste from Bengaluru, at Ganabharathi on Adichunchanagiri Road in Kuvempunagar tomorrow (July 26) at 5.30 pm. Vid. G.S. Ramanujam, a senior percussion artiste and scholar, will be the chief guest for the programme.

Vid. Anoor Phaneendra Sharma will be accompanied on violin by Vid. Anirudh Bharadwaj, Bengaluru (Disciple of Vidwans N. Venkatesh, Dr. C.A. Nataraj, S. Sheshagiri Rao, Mysore M. Nagaraj and Dr. Mysore M. Manjunath) and on mridanga by Vid. S.P. Nagendra Prasad, Bengaluru (disciple of Vidwans Nagabhushan, V. Sathyakumar and Anoor Ananathakrishna Sharma), both ‘B’ High grade artistes of AIR.

Vid. Anoor Phaneendra Sharma was initiated into music by his mother Vidu. Vimala and later trained under Vid. Anoor Ananthakrishna Sharma. He is also adept in flute under the guidance of Vid. Pranesh. He is B High graded artiste of AIR and has given concerts on many reputed Sabhas.
