Mysuru: Following a series of holidays from Oct. 31 to Nov. 3, tourists thronged the city in large numbers, with the prominent tourist spots like Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens (Mysuru Zoo) and Karanji Lake Nature Park earning a significant revenue in the form of entry fees.
A total of 1,09,088 footfalls were recorded including Zoo and Karanji Lake, with 1,01,710 visiting Zoo alone and remaining 7,378 to Karanji Lake.
To be precise, on Oct. 31: 15,177 people visited Zoo and 1,382 Karanji Lake totalling 16,559.
Nov. 1: 28,478 people visited Zoo and 1,947 Karanji Lake totalling 30,425.
Nov. 2: 35,138 visited Zoo and 2,159 Karanji Lake totalling 37,297.
Nov. 3: 22,917 visited Zoo and 1,890 Karanji Lake totalling 24,807.
