Mysore/Mysuru: In the wake of rising COVID positive cases in rural areas, Zilla Panchayat (ZP) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) A.M. Yogesh visited several villages in Nanjangud taluk to see the functioning of COVID Care Centres (CCCs).
The CEO, who has been touring rural areas since the last six days, visited Hura, Muddanahalli and Kottenahundi villages in Nanjangud taluk and inspected the functioning and treatment at the CCCs.
He said that Kittur Rani Chennamma Residential School in Hura village will be converted into the CCC and inspected arrangements for the same.
He then visited Morarji Desai Residential School at Muddanahalli and Atal Bihari Vajpayee Residential School in Kottenahundi, where he met the patients undergoing treatment there, heard their grievances and instilled confidence in them.
Nanjangud Tahsildar Mohankumari, Taluk Panchayat Executive Officer Srinivas and others were present.
