Mysuru: The Department of Backward Classes has invited applications from Other Backward Classes (OBC) community students belonging to Category-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribes (ST) studying from Class 5 to 10 for admissions to various Pre-Matric Hostels run by the Department at Nanjangud, Hunsur and T. Narasipur taluks for the year 2019-20.
Nanjangud: Pre-Matric Hostels for boys and girls at Nanjangud Town, Hullahalli, Kappasoge, Kudlapura, Kasuvinahalli, Hemmaragala and Tagadur villages. Last date to apply is June 10.
Hunsur: Pre-Matric Hostels for girls at Hunsur Town, Geresanahalli, Bilikere, Hirikyathanahalli, Tattekere and Pre-Matric Hostels for Boys at Hanagodu. Last date to apply is June 19.
T. Narasipur: Pre-Matric Hostels for boys has been operating at T. Narasipur Town, Maliyuru, Rangasamudra and Muguru villages. Last date to apply is June 20.
The prescribed application forms can be obtained from the respective Hostel Wardens or the Department’s Office and submit the filled-in forms along with attested photocopies of previous year marks card, aadhaar card, bank pass book and two recent passport size photos.
The annual family income of 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B community students should not exceed Rs.44,500, Rs. 10,000 for Category-1 students and Rs. 20,000 for SC/STs.
