Mysuru: The 77th birthday celebrations of Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji at Sri Ganapathy Ashrama on Ooty Road here last evening featured special puja and a bhajan programme. Junior Pontiff Sri Datta Vijayananda Theertha Swamiji performed Sri Chakra Puja and later performed ‘Pada Puja’ to the Senior Seer.

A Bhajan contest was held under two categories and prizes were given to the winners. The Swamiji celebrated his birthday by cutting a slab of Mysore Pak brought by the devotees. He also conducted the bhajans.
