1.60 lakh Covid vaccines given in KR Constituency: MLA Ramdas

Mysore/Mysuru: Over 1.60 lakh vaccine doses have been administered in Krishnaraja (KR)  Assembly Constituency, said MLA S.A. Ramdas.

He was speaking at a function organised in connection with administering second dose of COVID vaccination to beneficiaries and distributing the sanctioned letters of various social security schemes at J.P. Nagar Primary Health Centre here on Monday.

The MLA opined any work will become success provided everyone joined hands together. The citizens were taking vaccine without listening to vilification campaign by Opposition parties. “Already I have met and consoled those families which lost its members due to COVID-19 pandemic. The State Government has announced an ex-gratia relief of Rs. 1 lakh to each member of family who died of Covid. The compensation will be distributed at their doorsteps in the coming days,” he said.

Corporators Sharadamma Eshwar and Shanthamma Vadivelu, Deputy Tahsildhar Roopa, Taluk Medical Officer Dr. Mahadev Prasad, KR BJP President M.Vadivelu, General Secretaries Om Srinivas, J. Nagendrakumar and others were present.
