1 lakh Haryana AITA Men’s Tournament : Mysuru’s Suraj Prabodh wins Men’s Singles title

Mysuru lad Suraj R. Prabodh, taking part in the AITA Men’s 1 Lakh Tennis Tournament held at Karnal in Haryana, won the Men’s Singles title beating Yugal Bansal in the final 6-0, 6-3 yesterday.

In the semi-finals, Suraj scored a well-earned 6-0, 6-2 win over Ayush Gurnani 6-0, 6-2 and in the quarter-finals beat Tarn Anirudh 6-1, 6-2.

In the second round, Suraj tamed Yugank Bharadwaj 6-1, 6-4 and in the first round, had scored a convincing 6-0, 6-0 win over Chaitanya Chaudhary 6-0, 6-0 to clinch the title.
