103rd Birth Anniversary of Jayachamaraja Wadiyar

The 103rd Birth Anniversary of Sri Jayachamaraja Wadiyar will be celebrated at Sri JayachamarajaUrsu Education Trust premises on Krishnaraja Boulevard in city tomorrow (July 18) at 10.30 am. Pramoda Devi Wadiyar, Patron of Sri JayachamarajaUrsu Education Trust, will unveil the bust of the Trust Founder, Jayachamaraja Wadiyar.

Dr. N.S. Tharanath, Visiting Kannada Professor, Kuvempu Institute of Kannada Studies (KIKS), will be the chief guest and will deliver a talk on ‘Life and achievements of Jayachamaraja Wadiyar.’ YaduveerKrishnadattaChamaraja Wadiyar, President of Sri JayachamarajaUrsu Education Trust, will preside over the function. The programme will be followed by a Music Recital by Vidu. SmithaKarthik, Bengaluru, according to a press release from Mahesh N. Urs, Hon. Secretary of Sri JayachamarajaUrsu Education Trust.
