14 Karnataka Bn NCC adopts Sir MV’s statue at Mandya

Following the nationwide ‘Cleaning of Statues’ call by the Ministry of Defence, Government of India on Mar. 12, to remember and spread awareness about the personalities, whose statues are being cleaned, the 14 Karnataka Bn NCC, Mysuru, had adopted the statue of Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visveswaraya at Mandya.

As part of the programme, PI staff headed by Sub. Maj. Govindappa took part in the activity.

About 55 Cadets from various institutions of Mandya assembled near the statue at 7 am and carried out the cleaning activity.

Gp. Cdr, Mysuru, Col. R.R. Menon, Commanding Officer of 14 Kar Bn NCC, Mysuru Col. Manish Prasad and Associate NCC Officers headed by Lt. Shivaramu, took part in the event.
