140 volunteers paint PFA Animal Rescue Shelter

November 4, 2025

Mysore/Mysuru: The spirit of kindness and community came alive on Sunday as more than 140 volunteers from diverse backgrounds gathered for ‘Paint for Paws’, a VPaws mission by V The Volunteers (VTVO), at the People For Animals (PFA) Animal Rescue Shelter, Mysuru.

From Grade 5 students to Ph.D scholars and professionals from leading MNCs, participants spent the day transforming the shelter into a bright, cheerful haven for the 250-plus rescued animals who reside there.

Armed with paintbrushes and smiles, the volunteers brought the walls to life with vibrant colours, paw prints, inspiring quotes and artwork celebrating compassion, hope and coexistence.

This VPaws initiative is part of VTVO’s ongoing mission to engage citizens in meaningful acts of service that blend creativity with compassion.
