15 more IPS officers transferred

Mysuru: Just a day after it transferred 32 IPS officers, the State Government on Friday transferred 15 more Police officers, even as the Election Commission of India (ECI) asked the State Government to submit a report on the transfer of officials by Feb.25.

As per the latest transfer orders, Senior IPS officer Umesh Kumar has been posted as the new IGP (Southern Range) at Mysuru in place of Vipul Kumar who was appointed to the post late on Wednesday.

In other transfers, Mysuru DCP (Law & Order) N. Vishnuvardhana, who was transferred as DCP (Intelligence) at Bengaluru only on Wednesday, has now been posted as SP (CID) at Bengaluru.

M. Muthuraj has been appointed as the new Mysuru DCP (Law & Order). DCP (Crime & Traffic) Dr. Vikram V. Amathe has been transferred and posted as ASP of Dakshina Kannada at Mangaluru.

Dr. H.T. Shekar, who was serving as ACB SP, has been transferred and posted as ASP at Shivamogga.
