$15,000 ITF Men’s F3 Futures: Mysuru’s Prajwal Dev enters second round; Vasisht in main draw

Mysuru lad S.D. Prajwal Dev, representing India in the F3 Futures ITF $15,000 Men’s Tennis Tournament in Kampala, Uganda, won his Men’s Singles first round tie against Argentina’s Nicolas Uryson 6-4, 6-1 and entered the pre-quarter-finals on Monday.

In the qualifying rounds, Mysuru’s C. Vasisht fared well by winning both his rounds and qualified for the main draw in the Men’s Singles event.

In the first round, C. Vasisht beat Sahil Gaware 6-4, 7-6 (2) and in the final qualifying round beat Paras Dahiya 7-5, 6-3.

In the Men’s Doubles Main Draw, Prajwal Dev and Vasisht combined well to beat USA’s Parker Jordan and Emmet Ward 6-0, 6-1 in a tie which lasted for just 57 minutes.

The duo entered the quarter-finals with this win.
