Mysuru girl Dhruthi T. Venugopal teaming with Bengaluru lass Kyra Shroff and representing India in the $15,000 Sharm El Sheikh ITF Women’s Tennis Tournament at Egypt on Friday lost their women’s doubles semi-final tie and bowed out of the tournament.

Women’s Doubles: Semi-finals: Laura-loana Andrei (ROU) & Melanie Klaffuer (AUT) bt  Dhruthi T. Venugopal / Kyra Shroff (IND) 6-2, 6-2.

Quarter-finals: Dhruthi T. Venugopal / Kyra Shroff (IND) bt Sandra Samir (EGY) & Rana Sheriff Ahmed (EGY) 6-2, 6-3.

Women’s singles: First round: Zeel Desai (IND) bt Dhruthi T. Venugopal (IND) 3-0 (conceded).
