Over 2,000 candidates attend ‘Udyog-2018’

Mysuru: Edukare ITES had organised a job mela titled ‘Udyog-2018’ at Supreme Public School premises in Kanakadasanagar here this morning.

About 50 companies including JK Tyres, Reliance, TVS motors, Automotive Axles, Eureka Forbes, R-Process, Pride HR Solutions and Navbharat Fertilizers participated in the event to fill up over 3,000 vacant posts. About 2,000 candidates from Mysuru, Bengaluru, Mandya, Chamarajanagar and other places with qualification from SSLC to B.E./MBA attended the mela. Former Minister M. Shivanna inaugurated the programme.

Speaking on the occasion, DC D. Randeep said that the Central and State Government had launched the skill mission to improve employability of candidates. He emphasized that soft skills were vital for any position and asked the candidates to master them. He announced that the District Administration would organise a mega job mela during 2nd or 3rd week of February to draw about 200 companies. Referring to Swachh Survekshan Randeep asked people to participate effectively.

FKCCI Senior Vice-President Sudhakar S. Shetty, Joint Director, Department of Industries and Commerce S. Ramakrishne Gowda, Supreme Public School Founder M.L. Ravindraswamy, Edukare ITES Director Y.S. Mahesh, MD Rachana Mahesh, MCCI President Satish and others were present.
