2017 KSET exam results tomorrow on Varsity website

Mysuru:  The results of the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) held on Dec. 31, 2017, will be announced in the University of Mysore (UoM) website tomorrow. KSET is conducted to select lecturers for First Grade Colleges. Disclosing this at a press conference this morning, UoM In-Charge Vice-Chancellor Prof. T.K. Umesh said that the UoM, the Nodal Agency, accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC) conducted KSET exams for 39 subjects in 11 Nodal Centres across the State to facilitate candidates from all parts of the State to take up this examination.

He said that a total of 12,263 candidates had appeared from Mysuru out of which only 867 were eligible. Prof. Umesh said that a total of 63,068 candidates had appeared in the State out of which 4,295 candidates have become eligible among them are 2,603 candidates are male and 1,692 candidates are female.

The In-charge VC said that there was a delay in announcing the results as Observers from the UGC had not come due to some reasons and they came on July 17, verified the documents and approved the results and hence we would announce the results in the UoM website tomorrow.
