Bengaluru: BJP National President Amit Shah, who has decided to shift his base to Bengaluru to chalk out the strategy effectively for the 2018 Assembly elections, has began the hunt for villas through his emissaries.
According to sources, the representatives of Amit Shah visited a villa located near Kempegowda International Airport in Devanahalli to have a look at the house. It is said that the BJP leader has decided to stay in the outskirts to avoid causing inconvenience to the general public as he enjoys ‘Z’ plus security.
Karnataka will go for Assembly Polls during 2018 and BJP which is beaming in confidence after the landslide victory in Uttar Pradesh has set its eye on Karnataka. However, the victory will not be easy as the party suffered a loss in the recently held Nanjangud and Gundlupet Assembly constituencies.
Amit Shah is expected to stay in Bengaluru from September 2017 to plan for the upcoming elections.
