Mallesh (69), senior Congress leader, former Town Municipal Council Member and a resident of Chamalapura Road, passed away at a private hospital in Mysuru. He leaves behind his wife and two daughters. Last rites were performed in the town last evening.

Namaz-e-Janaza was offered after Namaz-e-Zohar this afternoon at Masjid-e-Azam in Lashkar Mohalla, followed by burial at Muslim Burial Grounds near Tipu Circle.

T. Krishna Rao (73), former employee of University of Mysore and a resident of Ramakrishna Nagar here, passed away yesterday at Bengaluru following brief illness. He leaves behind his wife, son Kumar (employee of General Motors, Melbourne, Australia now at HANDI in Vietnam) and daughter Rani (Professor of Computer Science at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mumbai)….

Ravindra Shenoy (60), son of Parthasarathy and a resident of Vijayanagar 2nd Stage, passed away last night following heart attack. A native of Thirthahalli, he leaves behind his wife and two sons. Last rites were performed at Chirashantidhama in Gokulam here this afternoon.
