N. Vishwanath

N. Vishwanath (68), proprietor of Maruthi Rice Mill, passed away this morning at his residence, following brief illness. He leaves behind his wife, a son, two daughters, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at his farm in Tattekere village today.

D.S. Leela (84), who served as a teacher in Christ the King Convent since its inception, for over three decades, passed away yesterday at her residence in Vidyaranyapura. She is survived by two younger sisters and a brother. The body was donated to Mysore Medical College and Research Institute this afternoon.
