Pandikanda Pemmaiah (72), a retired Police officer and a resident of Halugunda village, passed away yesterday in Bengaluru following a heart attack. Pemmaiah had served the Police Department for almost 34 years and was also the recipient of the Chief Minister’s Medal. Last rites were performed at Halugunda village today.
