Fire destroys plants, trees near Kalamandira

Fire has destroyed dry plants, grass, dry leaves and trees at the land adjoining Kukkarahalli Lake, next to Kalamandira, opposite to the residence of the Deputy Commissioner yesterday afternoon. Saraswathipuram Fire Brigade personnel doused the fire and prevented it from spreading further. Jayalakshmipuram Police, University of Mysore officials visited the spot.
