Chekkera Subbaiah (96), a resident of Vijayanagar 2nd Stage in city, passed away last night in Bengaluru. He leaves behind son Dr. C.S. Thammaiah (Vinu), daughter Anitha, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Chirashantidhama in Gokulam this afternoon.
