Valsa Mathew (81), retired Mathematics Professor of Teresian College and a resident of Bannimantap, passed away this morning at Chennai. Wife of late Prof. Mathew Makil, she leaves behind children Asha, Bobby, Ashok and Anjana, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral will be held at Kottayam in Kerala, according to family sources.
