D. Devaraj (62), pro-Dalit activist and a resident of Kattemalalavadi village, passed away yesterday morning at the village. He leaves behind his wife, two sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at his native place, according to family sources.

Palanganda Lalita Subbaiya (74), daughter of late Palanganda K. Subbaiya and a resident of No. 541/B, 4th Main, Gokulam 3rd Stage, passed away yesterday night in city. A spinster, she leaves behind two sisters, two brothers and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at Chirashantidhama in Gokulam here this afternoon.
