Puttaswamy Gowda (75), a resident of Ahalya village in the taluk, passed away yesterday at the village. He leaves behind three sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandson and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at the family’s farm land this afternoon.
