Shivegowda (91), father of senior journalist from Mysuru Amshi Prasanna Kumar, passed away at Ambigarahalli in K.R. Pet taluk early this morning. He leaves behind three sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at Ambigarahalli this afternoon.

Niranjan (32), an employee at Hunsur CESC Office and a resident of N.S. Colony in the town, passed away following a heart attack in the town yesterday.
