Syed Sameer Ahmed (49), Transport Operator and a resident of No. 118, 5th Cross, KEB Colony in Udayagiri, passed away at a private hospital in city yesterday. Namaz-e-janaza was held today at Masjid-e-Ya-Allah, opposite to Government Guest House after Zohar (1.30 pm), followed by burial at the Muslim Burial Grounds near Tipu Circle.

Anusuya Sathyanarayana (78), a resident of Ramakrishnanagar ‘K’ Block, passed away following prolonged illness in city. She leaves behind daughter Sharvari, son-in-law Jagadish, son Ganesh and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at K.G. Koppal Burial Grounds yesterday.

G.J. Jaiprakash (80), retired engineer, Vice-President of Vokkaliga Welfare Association and a resident of T.K. Layout, passed away yesterday in city. He leaves behind two sons, daughters-in-law, grand children and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at Kuvempunagar Burial Grounds yesterday evening, according to a family source.
