S.D. Rani (75),  wife of late Kumar and a resident of EWS Colony, Bannimantap 3rd Stage in city, passed away here on Friday. She leaves behind her son Satish, daughter Pallavi and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Jodi Tenginamara Burial Grounds in Bannimantap this afternoon.

M.B. Nijaguna (79), a resident of Lakshmipuram in city, passed away here yesterday. Daughter of the city’s Guru Sweet Mart Founder late M. Basavanna and Kempananjamma couple and wife of Nagarle S. Mahalinganna, she leaves behind two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed on Friday evening.
