Puttananjamma (79), wife of late Beeraiah and a resident of Uttanahalli, passed away yesterday at the village. She leaves behind one son, five daughters and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at the village this afternoon.

Prof. B.G. Gangaram (94), retired Professor of Bangalore Home Science College, passed away at a private hospital in city yesterday. He leaves behind two sons, three daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill today.
