Centenarian Lakkappa Swamiji passes away

Hunsur: Sri Lakkappa Swamiji (100), Founder of Vishwashanthi Shikshana Samsthe at Rathnapuri village in the taluk, passed away on Wednesday night. Last rites were held at Vishwashanthi Shikshana Samsthe premises yesterday. Former Hunsur MLA H.P. Manjunath and other dignitaries paid their last respects to the departed soul.

D. Krishnaiah (89), retired MCC driver and a resident of Vinayakanagar, passed away yesterday in city. He leaves behind two sons, two daughters, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.  Last rites were held at Gokulam Burial Grounds this morning.
