M.V. Suryakanti (69), a resident of #991, 5th Cross, Janathanagar, passed away this morning due to brief illness. Wife of late M.S. Venugopal (owner of Venu Colour Lab), she leaves behind her son Shyam Sundar, daughter Hemalatha and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at K.G. Koppal Burial Grounds this afternoon.

G.V. Rao (95), Founder-Member and First Secretary of Badaganadu Balaga, Mysuru, passed away in Vellore at his son’s residence yesterday. He had worked with Voltas, Wolkart and Batliboi (Mumbai).He leaves behind his wife, son, two daughters and a host of relatives & friends. Last rites were held at Vellore today.
