Ashokapuram Jai Bhim Sports Club and Dream Boys Sports Club have jointly organised the 205th anniversary of Bhima Koregaon on Jan.1  at 6 pm near Jayanagar Railway Gate, as a ‘Day of celebrating Dalits Dignity and Self-respect Awareness,’ said Celebration Committee President Jayaraj Hegde. Cine actor Prakash Raj will inaugurate. Chamarajanagara’s Nalanda Bouddha Vishwa Vidyanilaya’s Bhodidatta Banteji and Urilinga Peddimutt’s Jnanaprakash Swamiji will grace the occasion.

Thinker Prof. Kalegowda Nagavara will preside. Critic Prof. O.L. Nagabhushanaswamy will deliver the keynote address. Former Mayor Purushotham, Theatre person H. Janardhan (Janni), Mysore Bar Association President M. Mahadevaswamy, Secretary S. Umesh,  Corporator Pallavi Begum and others will participate, said Jayaraj Hegde.
