Mysore/Mysuru: Shruthimanjari Foundation and Rotary Club of Mysore West have jointly organised a three-day 24th Shravana Yuva Sangeethotsava at Rotary West Auditorium in Saraswathipuram here from Aug. 18 to 20 in the evening.
On Aug. 18, Rotary Club of Mysore West President Rtn. G.K. Sudheendra will inaugurate the event at 5.45 pm. Vidu. Madhuri Kaushik will present a Karnatak Classical Music Concert at 6 pm. She will be accompanied by Vidu. C.V. Shruthi on violin, Vid. Sai Shivu Lakshmi Keshav on mridanga and Vid. S. Manjunath on ghata.
On Aug. 19, Vid. Ishwar Iyer will present a Karnatak Music Concert at 6 pm. He will be accompanied by Vidu. Prithvi Bhaskar on violin and Vid. Pawan Madhav Masur on mridanga.
On Aug. 20, Veena Vidushi Jayamma Memorial Classical Music Competitions’ Prize Distribution Ceremony will be held at 6 pm. Karnataka Bank Regional Office-Mysuru Assistant General Manager Ramesh Rao will be the chief guest. Later, Vidu. Y.G. Srilata will present a Karnatak Classical Music Concert. She will be accompanied by Vid. Nikshit Puttur on mridanga and Vid. B. Rajashekar on morching.
