3-day Abhivyakthi Habba in city from tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: The Abhivyakthi Art and Cultural Trust has organised a three-day Abhivyakthi Habba in city from Nov. 28 to 30. This marks the fifth year of the festival, which will take place at the RamaGovinda Rangamandira in Ramakrishnanagar.

The festival will be inaugurated by art patron Dr. Jagannath Shenoy at 6 pm tomorrow. Vidu. Sheela Sridhara, a well-known senior dance teacher from Mysuru, will be the chief guest.

On the first day, in the ‘Nritya Pallavi’ segment, three upcoming artistes from different cities will present their performances — Srilatha Acharya, Mumbai, at 6.15 pm; Gowri Sagar and Prithvi Parthasarathi, Bengaluru, at 7 pm; Bharatanjali Nritya Shaale, Mysuru at 7.45 pm.

On the second day, Nov. 29, in the ‘Navollasa’ segment at 6.15 pm, students from Abhivyakthi Kala Shaale will showcase their brilliant performances. Pt. Veerabhadraiah Hiremath and Ravi Bale will be the chief guests.

On the final day, Nov. 30, in the ‘Nrityollasa’ segment at 6.15 pm, renowned Bharatanatyam dancer Vidu. Divya Ravi from Bengaluru will present her magnificent dance performance. Vidu. Shyamala Prakash will be the chief guest for the event.

This Fest promises to be a treat for dance and music-lovers in the city and will serve as an educational experience for art students.
