3 killed in separate incidents

Mysuru: Three person died in separate incidents in city this morning and yesterday.

In the first incident, G.M. Mahadevappa (60), an employee of Amma Construction at Dattagalli and a resident of Someshwarapura, Mysuru Taluk, died on the spot after the motorbike he was travelling was hit by a tractor (KA-09 T-4636) at around 7.30 pm yesterday while he was returning from a construction site at Kadakola.

Mysuru South Police have registered a case and are investigating. Mahadevappa’s body was shifted to MMC&RI mortuary for post-mortem.

In the second incident, Puttaswamy (78), a resident of Kavalande village in Nanjangud, who was being treated at the K.R. Hospital for head injuries after being hit by an Yamaha motorcycle (KA-09 HG-5415) on Apr. 27, died this morning  at 7.30 am. Nanjangud Traffic Police have registered a case and are investigating.

In the third case, Girish (28), a resident of Mangala village in Mandya taluk, who was being treated for burn injuries at the K.R. Hospital burns ward, died this morning. The Police said that Girish had self-immolated using petrol and was admitted to K.R. Hospital. Mandya Rural Police have registered a case and are investigating.
