30,650 young voters have enrolled in Mysuru

New voters displaying their ID cards during National Voters Day in city this morning.

Mysore/Mysuru: As per the final voters list of Mysuru district, 30,650 young voters have enrolled — Hunsur Assembly Constituency – 4,075 voters (2,312 male and 1,763 female); Chamundeshwari – 3,775 voters (2,054 male, 1,720 female and 1 transgender); K.R. Nagar – 3,321 voters (1,529 male, 1,504 female and 2 transgenders), Narasimharaja (NR) – 3,219 voters (1,622 male and 1,597 female), H.D. Kote – 3,149 voters (1,754 male, 1,394 female & 1 transgender); Periyapatna – 2,816 voters (1,529 male, 1,286 female and 1 transgender); Varuna – 2,484 voters (1,373 male and 1,111 female); T. Narasipur – 2,124 voters (1,130 male and 994 female); Chamaraja – 1,986 voters (976 male, 1,009 female & 1 transgender); Nanjangud – 1,920 voters (984 male and 936 female); Krishnaraja (KR): 1,781 voters (879 male & 902 female).

1.27 percent rise

In the final voters list announced after revision of the draft, there has been an increase in total number of voters by 32,043 (1.27%). In NR alone, the total number of voters have increased by 6,250, Chamundeshwari – 5,730, Varuna – 3,473, Chamaraja – 3,095, Nanjangud – 3,014, KR – 2,848, K.R. Nagar – 2,627, Hunsur – 2,623, Periyapatna – 1,455, T. Narasipur – 493 & H.D. Kote – 435.
