Top-seed K.R. Sara (Rating 1155) of Mysuru was held to a draw by West Bengal’s Kashvi Chitlangia in the third round game on the second day of the 32nd National Under-7 Girls Chess Championships 2018, at Tumakuru on Tuesday.
After three rounds, Sara has secured 2.5 points and is placed 16th in the ranking.
Andhra Pradesh’s Gulshan Sharanya Potluri, Lakshna Subramanian (TN), Mahadev Rushita Haju (Tel), Samaran Jain (Delhi) and third seed K.A. Meenakshi (AP) are tied with three points each from three rounds and are placed from one to five in the ranking. In all, 14 players are tied with three points.
