New Delhi: The first ever Kho Kho World Cup 2025 will be held at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi from January 13 to 19. The inaugural edition of World Cup will feature 20 men’s and 19 women’s teams.
While the men’s team will start their campaign on Jan. 13 against Nepal at 8.30 pm, the women’s team will play their first match against South Korea on Jan. 14 at 7 pm. Both men’s and women’s tournaments will begin with the group stages and will be followed by the knockouts. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the quarter-finals. The inaugural Kho Kho World Cup will be played in a 12-per-side format.

Group B : South Africa, Ghana, Argentina, Netherlands, Iran
Group C : Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Republic of Korea, United States of America, Poland
Group D : England, Germany, Malaysia, Australia, Kenya
Women’s Teams
Group A : India, Iran, Malaysia, Republic of Korea
Group B : England, Australia, Kenya, Uganda, Netherlands
Group C : Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Germany, Bangladesh
Group D : South Africa, New Zealand, Poland, Peru, Indonesia
