CESC warns of legal action against unauthorised drones
Mysuru: As part of the ongoing Nada Habba Dasara celebrations, the Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation (CESC) has organised a mega drone show at the Bannimantap Torchlight Parade Grounds on Oct. 17, 18, 20 and 21.
The aerial display is expected to be one of the major attractions of this year’s festivities, lighting up the night sky with a spectacular show. In a press release, CESC warned individuals and organisations against flying private drones or capturing visuals of the show without prior permission from the competent authority.
Sharing or circulating footage recorded through unauthorised drone operations on social media platforms has also been prohibited. The corporation said unauthorised drones operating during the show would be seized immediately and violators would face legal action.
CESC has urged the public and agencies to follow the prescribed rules and obtain official permission from the competent authority before operating drones during the event.
