Mysuru: The fourth edition of the Mysuru International Film Festival (MIFF)-2024 and ‘Cine Santhe,’ organised by ‘Make Society Smile Foundation’, will take place on Dec. 29 at J.K. Grounds in city from 9 am to 10 pm.

The event’s poster was released yesterday by actor ‘Daali’ Dhananjaya. The festival will be inaugurated by Chamaraja MLA K. Harishgowda at 10 am.

Highlights of the day-long festival include a singing competition, decoration and painting contests for children and an exhibition. Prizes for the winners will be distributed at 6 pm.

The prize distribution ceremony will have notable guests, including actors Arjun Ramesh and ‘Daali’ Dhananjaya, BJP City Vice-President Hema Nandish and Karnataka State Commission for Women Chairperson Dr. Nagalakshmi.

Present at the poster release were Sri Durga Foundation President Rekha Srinivas, Public Relations Officer (PRO) S.N. Shankar, industrialist Gagandeep, Film Festival Organiser Ranjitha Subramanya and ‘Cine Santhe’ Director and Founder Sandhya Rani, along with Aishwarya G. Prasad.
