531st Kanakadasa Jayanti celebrations on Dec. 16

City-based BEML Limited Kanaka Seva Samithi has organised 531st Kanakadasa Jayanti celebrations on Dec. 16 at 10.30 am at Subramanyaswamy temple, Hebbal Hudco 3rd Stage in city. Kaginele Kanaka Gurupeetha Mysuru Branch Mutt pontiff Sri Shivanandapuri Swamiji will grace the occasion. Congress leader Doddaswamegowda will preside. Meritorious students of the community will be feted along with achievers Dr. H.G. Umesh, Assistant Professor Dr. B. Jayalakshmi and Senior Journalist N.M. Mahadev.
