Mysore/Mysuru: A 56-year-old woman was found dead at her home in Lalbahadur Shastrinagar here on Wednesday, when nobody else was at the home. Seethalakshmi (56), wife of B.C. Venkatesh, is the deceased.
Seethalakshmi’s son and daughter-in-law, who served as lecturers at a city college, had gone for Republic Day programme yesterday morning. But the couple returned home in the afternoon only to find Seethalakshmi lying dead in her bedroom. She is said to have died while asleep.
Based on a complaint by the family members, the Mysuru South Police have registered a case.
