6-week Entrepreneurship on “Food Technology”

Mysore/Mysuru: Entrepreneurship Development Cell and Institution Innovation Council of GSSS Institute of Engineering & Technology for Women, Mysuru is organising a 6-week Technology-based Entrepreneurship Development Programme (TEDP) on “Food Technology” sponsored by Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India.

The programme, which starts from Jan.25, aims at training potential entrepreneurs of Science and Technology graduates and the diploma holders. Participants will be provided hands-on training in indigenous technologies development with R&D institutions that are available for commercial exploitation. 

Eminent resource persons from CFTRI, DFRL and Government Sectors will conduct the TEDP that provides in-depth knowledge of entrepreneurship skills. The entrepreneurs will be exposed to technical knowledge about food products and technologies to develop their skills at the technology provider’s lab. 

The technology experts will motivate and develop entrepreneurs in specific products/technologies/processes developed by R&D institutions, Universities. 

This programme will be conducted through online mode. The willing participants are requested to register for this event using the below Google form link: https://forms.gle/UpvsUzeCTuPF4s8s7. 

Dr. Sridevi Annapurna, Director, CFTRI, Mysuru will be the chief guest and deliver a talk on “Importance of Food technology” on the first day of this                    programme. 

Yashaswi Nag, Project Manager, India Start Ups, Bengaluru, will be the guest of honour. 

Dr. Jagannatha Shenoi, President, GSSS, Vanaja B. Pandit, Hon. Secretary, R.K. Bharath, CEO, Anupama B. Pandit, Administrative Officer, GSSSIETW, Dr. M. Shivakumar, Principal, GSSSIETW, and the Conveners of TEDP Dr. S. Padmashree, Professor, Department of ECE and  Dr. P.
