68th National Basketball Championship: Karnataka women score good win

Karnataka women scored a well earned 79-68 win over Madhya Pradesh on the third day of the 68th National Basketball Championship being held at Chennai yesterday.

In the men’s section, Himachal Pradesh scored a facile 70-34 win over Sikkim in the first match of the day. Maharashtra scored a 73-53 win over Delhi in the women’s section. Rajasthan scored a 85-71 win over Odisha in the men’s section.

Defending champion Kerala scored a 76-62 win over Chhattisgarh in women’s section. Chandigarh scored a 88-28 win over Arunachal Pradesh in men’s section. Indian Railways scored a 76-65 win over Gujarat while Karnataka scored a 78-54 win over Kerala in men’s section. Hosts Tamil Nadu scored a 88-74 win over Punjab in men’s section in the final match of the day.
