68th National Basketball Championships: Karnataka women enter semi-finals

Karnataka women helped by some inspiring play by Vaishnavi (35 points) registered a 78-63 win over Uttar Pradesh and entered semi-finals in women’s section in 68th National Basketball Championships held at Chennai yesterday.

Results

Men’s – Quarter-finals: Services bt Karnataka 90-70, Indian Railways bt Rajasthan 103-79, Punjab bt Uttrakhand 70-68. Pre-quarterfinals: Services bt Gujarat 87-59, Chandigarh bt Kerala 83-70; Women’s – Quarter-finals: Kerala bt Delhi 79-42, Chhattisgarh bt Maharashtra 90-61, Karnataka bt UP 78-63; Pre-quarterfinals: UP bt Telangana 69-54, Tamil Nadu bt West Bengal 84-50.
