Mysore/Mysuru: NCC and NCC Alumni Association of Mysore Group have organised an event on the occasion of the 75th Raising Day of NCC on Dec. 1 at Sarada Vilas College (SVC) Centenary Hall, Krishnamurthypuram, at 4 pm.
Col. Rohit Thakur, Group Commander, Mysore Group; Gp. Capt. (Dr.) Vinay Vittal (retd.), Indian Air Force and Ex-Cadet; Prof. M. Nataraj, retd. Principal, SVC and Maj. Ex-ANO and Ex-Cadet; A.V. Vidyashankar, Founder, MD, Abhinava Group and Ex-Cadet, will be the chief guests.
The event features the following: Achievers Award Presentation; Honouring Senior Citizen Ex-Cadets; Cultural Activities and Remembering Martyr Lt. Ashok P. Mutgikar killed in action at the age of 22, during 1971 Indo-Pak War, who studied in Sarada Vilas College (1966-1970) and the only Officer Cadet and NCC “D” Certificate holder in Karnataka; A motivation speech by NCC Mysore Group Commander, retd. Indian Air Force Officer (Ex-Cadet from Mysuru) and Seniormost Ex-Cadet (Retd. Principal, SVC, Maj. Ex-ANO & Ex-Cadet.
This event includes Army, Air Force and Navy officers, dignitaries, Cadets, NCC alumni members and Martyr family (1971 Indo-Pak war).
