8,401 students skip SSLC exam: DDPI clarifies

Mysuru –  In the wake of reports of over a thousand students absenting in almost every subject in the ongoing SSLC examination in the district, Star of Mysore, expressing concern, contacted DDPI H.R. Basappa this morning for his reaction.

Speaking to SOM reporter, Basappa clarified that most of the absentees were either repeaters or private candidates which was a regular feature and not alarming.  He also gave the statistics of the attendance pattern of students in each subject of examination held till now.
