Mysore/Mysuru: The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Student Branch of GSSS Institute of Engineering & Technology for Women (GSSSIETW) is organising the 8th National IEEE Project Exhibition on May 3, in association with IEEE Mysuru Subsection and IEEE Bangalore Subsections.
The primary aim of the competition is to offer students a platform to showcase the technical expertise within the realms of Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology and associated fields.
This project competition fosters a conducive environment to exchange ideas among students from various Engineering Colleges of Karnataka, thereby stimulating active engagement and interaction to enrich their understanding.
With an attendance of over 200 participants, this event promises substantial benefits to students, facilitating valuable learning and networking opportunities.
The inaugural function will be held on May 3 at 10 am in M. Govinda Rao Memorial Hall, GSSSIETW, Mysuru.
Dr. T. Srinivas, Professor in Electrical and Communication Engineering, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru and Chair, IEEE Bangalore Section, will inaugurate. Dr. M. Jagannatha Shenoi, President, GSSS, Mysuru, will preside.
Vanaja B. Pandit, Hon. Secretary, GSSS, Mysuru, R.K. Bharath, Management Committee Member & CEO, GSSS, Anupama B. Pandit, AO and Board Member, GSSS, Dr. M. Shivakumar, Principal, GSSSIETW, Mysuru, Dr. G. Sreeramulu Mahesh, Professor & Head, Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Dr. Raghvendraprasad Deshpande, IEEE Student Branch Counsellor and HoDs of various departments will be present.
After the inaugural event, six parallel sessions will be conducted to assess projects across different domains including Power and Energy Systems, VLSI Systems and Applications, Embedded Systems, Robotics & Automation, Internet of Things (IoT) and Computer Science & Engineering.
